Wine Country Awaits
In September 2009, TripAdvisor.com, the world's most popular and largest online travel community announced the results of its poll of the most popular wine destinations in North America. In a survey of 1,000 U.S. respondents, 48% plan to visit a U.S. vineyard, with 40% planning to do so this Fall. By a large margin, the Napa Valley was voted to be the number one Wine Country destination Taking this a step further, according to Vocation Vacations, a boutique travel company that allows people to live out their dream jobs on vacation, two of the top 20 requests are found within the wine industry. Whether you got the bug after visiting the Napa Valley, France or Italy on your honeymoon, found a love for wine after taking a class at your local wine shop or simply dream of a life beyond the corner office, many people imagine themselves owning a winery. |
